If you want old-school Branson at Christmas, this is it.

Presleys’ Country Jubilee is the show that started it all on the 76 Strip, and when I picture a traditional Branson show, this is pretty much what I imagine. A big live band, country and gospel music, and Herkimer and Cecil still doing the kind of goofy slapstick comedy people have been laughing at for years.

It’s wholesome, appropriate for all ages and one of those shows that just feels VERY Branson.

I realize this has absolutely nothing to do with whether Presleys is a good Christmas show, but this is important information. 😂

Lots of Branson theaters sell those warm roasted nuts. Presleys has my favorite ones.

They’re warm, covered in that cinnamon-sugary goodness, and they are a weakness I simply cannot overcome.

If you smell them when you walk in and suddenly find yourself buying some, don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Is Presleys’ Christmas Show Worth It?

If you want classic Branson, absolutely.

This is traditional country music, gospel, a big live band and comedy.

Presleys isn’t trying to turn itself into some giant modern production. This is the kind of show Branson was built on, and they know exactly what they’re doing.

If someone tells me they miss the Branson they remember from years ago, Presleys is one of the first places I send them.

What Is Presleys’ Christmas Show Like?

At Christmas, it still feels very much like Presleys.

You’re getting the same kind of music and comedy people come here for, just with Christmas mixed in.

One thing I specifically remember from the Christmas show is snow falling over the audience, which was pretty fabulous.

And I’m not going to give you a play-by-play of every Christmas song or scene because these shows change. I’d rather tell you what kind of experience you’re getting than promise you something that may not be in the exact version you see.

Who Should See Presleys at Christmas?

Honestly, almost anybody.

Presleys is wholesome and appropriate for all ages, so this is an easy one when you’re trying to find something Grandma, Grandpa, Mom, Dad and the kids can all watch together.

That being said, it is especially popular with the older crowd.

And if someone tells me they miss the Branson they remember from years ago, Presleys is one of the first places I send them.

Families. Couples. Grandparents. Country and gospel music fans. Anyone who wants a good, traditional Branson show without worrying about what the kids are going to hear.

Presleys has a pretty wide lane. But if you love old-school Branson, you’re right in their sweet spot.
