Cheap Things to Do in Branson, Missouri for $15 or Less
Branson can get expensive FAST, but you don’t have to spend $50 a person every time you leave your hotel.
These are some of my favorite cheap things to do in Branson for $15 or less per person. I’ve actually been to every place on this list, and these are things I’d spend my own vacation time and money doing.

Get $1 Ice Cream at Abby’s Tourist Trap
Sometimes you don’t need an attraction. You just want to get everybody a snack without spending $40.
Abby’s Tourist Trap is a little souvenir shop in the parking lot of the Dutton Theatre with $1 soft-serve ice cream in a cone or cup and $1 cookies.
They also have cobbler and fudge if you want something more. The staff is always so sweet, and it’s a fantastic little stop when everybody wants a treat.
They’re generally open before and after Dutton shows and often on other days too, but I’d check before making a special trip.
Play Board Games All Afternoon for $5 at Dice & Dine
Dice & Dine is $5 per person, and you can play as many board games as you want all afternoon long.
My family is big into board games, and we’ve been here a handful of times. We’ve actually spent five hours playing games before!
I also love coming here when there’s a game we’ve thought about buying. We can play it first and figure out if we actually like the dang thing before spending the money.
They have a HUGE selection of games, food and drinks available to purchase, and private rooms if you’re coming with a group.
This is one of my favorite cheap things to do in Branson on a rainy day, but I’d also do it for a cheap date or an afternoon with friends.
Take Little Kids to Lera Family Farm for $5
If you have younger kids, Lera Family Farm has a Family Fun Area for $5.
It’s basically a big farm-themed playground where the kids can climb, play and see some farm animals.
The farm itself is free to visit, and there are places to grab food while you’re there too. It’s not some giant attraction that’s going to take up your entire day. It’s simple, inexpensive and a fun place to let little kids run around for a while.
I have a whole guide to Lera Family Farm during the fall, including what else there is to do and what you can expect before you go.
Play Old-School Arcade Games for $12 at 1984
We’ve been to 1984 Branson Arcade more times than I can count.
For $12 per person, you can play the classic arcade games as much as you want.
The whole place is 80s themed, and there are a couple of old-school living room areas with TVs playing 80s movies. There are some fun places to take pictures too.
This place is a hit with the gentlemen.
But kids love it too!
If you grew up in the 70s or 80s, this is your chance to take your kids or grandkids and show them what an arcade was like when we were kids.
There are also a handful of pinball machines in the back, but bring quarters if you want to play those.
Play World of Wizards Blacklight Mini Golf for $13.95
World of Wizards is $13.95 per person for 18 holes, and it’s my favorite indoor putt-putt in Branson.
First of all, it’s INSIDE.
Air conditioning in the summer. Heat in the winter. That alone makes me happy!
The entire course is black light with this medieval fairytale theme that reminds me of The Sword in the Stone. There are lots of fun photo spots, and there’s a huge dragon toward the end.
They also have an arcade up front, but that costs extra. You don’t need to spend anything else to enjoy the mini golf.
And here’s a local tip that I definitely have no personal knowledge about whatsoever.
Scooters is in the same building, and apparently having a drink or two before black-light putt-putt makes that giant dragon considerably more entertaining.
Scooters also has my favorite wings in Branson!
BONUS: Look for $5 Movies at Branson IMAX
Here’s another one to keep in your back pocket.
Branson IMAX has select $5 late-night movies, so check their current movie schedule to see what’s playing while you’re in town.
And if you’re visiting Branson during the summer, watch for their FREE Wednesday morning kids movies. They do these every summer, and FREE is even better than cheap!
