Branson Bike Week 2026: Where to Ride, Eat & Hang Out During the H.O.G. Rally

If you’re headed to Branson, Missouri for Bike Week and the National H.O.G. Rally this September, downtown is obviously going to be the center of the action.

But please don’t ride all the way to the Ozarks just to spend four days sitting in the same few blocks.

We’ve got some fabulous roads around Table Rock Lake, seriously good barbecue, plenty of places to grab a beer, and a few ways to cool off when September reminds everybody that fall has NOT arrived in Missouri yet.

I’ve driven these roads more times than I could count, so here’s where I’d ride, eat and hang out while you’re here.

What’s Happening During Branson Bike Week 2026?

There are actually two things happening together, which can get a little confusing.

The National H.O.G. Rally runs September 9–12, while Full Throttle Branson Bike Week runs September 10–12 in downtown Branson. Full Throttle is hosting the National H.O.G. Rally, so you’re going to see the two names used together quite a bit.

Here’s the important part: you do NOT have to be a H.O.G. member to come down and enjoy Bike Week.

Full Throttle Branson Bike Week is free and open to the public. Downtown will have live music, vendors, food, bike games, the Wall of Death and other activities. Some National H.O.G. Rally activities, perks and participation are reserved for registered H.O.G. members. For example, the Saturday parade is specifically for registered H.O.G. members.

Full Throttle is heavily involved with the whole thing, so naturally you’re going to end up there. They’ll have moonshine, food and live music, and they’re right in the middle of the action.

I don’t need to spend 500 words convincing you to go to Full Throttle during Bike Week.

You’ll find it. 😂

Get Downtown Early Friday

I’m going to be a little biased here.

The Massengale Brothers play Friday at 5:30 PM, right before Demun Jones takes the stage at 8:30 PM.

They’re my favorite band. They play country, but they’ll mix in classic rock and other stuff too. If you’re already going to see Demun Jones, get downtown early enough to catch them.

Saturday gives you another pretty dang good choice: Jackyl downtown or Guns N’ Roses at Thunder Ridge Nature Arena.

Not a bad weekend for live music.

My Favorite Scenic Ride Around Branson

If you’re looking for a good ride near Branson, this is the loop I’d take:

Branson → Highway 76/265 → Branson West → Highway 13 south through Kimberling City → Highway 86 east → brief hop on Highway 65 → Highway 265 → Highway 165 past Table Rock Dam → Branson

I’ve driven this entire loop several times. You’ll get curves, Ozarks scenery, some Table Rock Lake views and, for most of it, you won’t be staring at somebody’s bumper.

There is one place where traffic can get stupid.

When you get near Silver Dollar City, stay in the right lane if you aren’t going to the park. Traffic heading into Silver Dollar City can back up, and you don’t want to get sucked into that mess when you’re trying to continue toward Branson West.

Once you reach Kimberling City, if you’re making this ride in the afternoon, stop at Cruise Inn Throttle Down for a drink and hang out for a while before continuing the loop.

Got Time for a Longer Ride? Head to Eureka Springs

The ride from Branson to Eureka Springs, Arkansas is beautiful.

There’s just one problem this particular weekend.

Apparently, the Jeeps had the same idea. 😂

Eureka Springs Jeep Jam runs September 10–13, 2026, so it overlaps almost perfectly with Branson Bike Week.

Would I still go? Yep.

Just don’t roll into Eureka Springs expecting a peaceful little mountain town. It’s probably going to be PACKED. If you’re fine with that, enjoy the ride and embrace the chaos.

Where to Eat During Branson Bike Week

I’m not giving you 27 restaurants. These are places I’d actually send my friends.

And here’s one rule I use when trying somewhere new: check the Google reviews. Some of the coolest-looking places from the road have some of the creepiest reviews. 😂 I generally stick with restaurants with a 4.3 Google rating or higher.

Breakfast: Gettin’ Basted

Gettin’ Basted is known for barbecue, but breakfast might actually be their superpower.

If you want a big breakfast before heading out for the day, this is where I’d go.

Head West for BBQ

West of Branson, you’ve got three places I really like:

Old 76 Smokehouse, Come and Take It, and Pop’s Smoke Shack.

Old 76 is my favorite.

Apparently everybody else figured out how good it is too because these people SELL OUT.

And I don’t mean you might have to wait for a table. I mean you show up too late and the meat you wanted may actually be gone.

They can sell out any day of the week, so if Old 76 is high on your list, don’t wait until late afternoon and assume they’ll still have everything.

Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Three Stops Five Minutes From Downtown

Hop across the bridge into Hollister and you’ve got three places I love right around Downing Street.

Turkey Creek Brewery has an English-pub feel, good beer and a great patio.

Taps on Downing Street also has a fantastic vibe. I love both, but if we’re having a patio competition, I give Taps the slight edge.

Or don’t choose. Go to both.

Then there’s Downing Street Pour House.

You’ll walk through a hotel lobby that looks like it came straight out of a castle. Ask to sit on the back patio because a surprising number of people don’t even realize it’s there.

And come hungry. The food is absolutely fantastic.

Crazy Craig’s: Pick Your Poison

Both Crazy Craig’s Cheeky Monkey Bar and Crazy Craig’s Treehouse are fun.

For Bike Week, I’d probably give Cheeky Monkey the slight edge. It’s on the south side of Branson, it’s definitely a dive, the crowd tends to be lively, and the barbecue is pretty dang good.

Treehouse has a fun atmosphere too, so you really can’t go wrong with either.

Want to Get Dirty?

Trade two wheels for four for a few hours.

Hog Wild Adventures offers guided ATV tours through the Ozarks, and this is one thing I WOULD schedule in the morning.

Not because you’re waking up to some magical crisp September morning.

You’re not.

Go early because it’s going to get hot and muggy later.

Cool Off on the Lake

When the afternoon gets hot, head to Scotty’s Trout Dock.

It’s really close to downtown Branson, and Scotty’s has some incredible pontoon deals starting around $100. I’ve even seen packages that include a pontoon and a pizza.

Prices and packages can change, so check the current offers before you go.

Get a few friends together, split the cost and get out on Lake Taneycomo. That breeze coming off the lake feels FANTASTIC on a hot day.

Want to Do Something Completely Tourist-Trappy?

Listen. You’re in Branson.

You might as well do at least one tourist trap. 😂

Especially if it’s 92 degrees and the tourist trap has air conditioning.

The Titanic Museum Attraction is always fun. There’s considerably more inside than people expect, and I have a discount for Titanic.

If you prefer your tourist traps a little weirder, go to Ripley’s Believe It or Not! People are always enamored with all the bizarre stuff inside this place.

It’s weird. It’s random. It’s air-conditioned.

I have a discount for Ripley’s, too.

Cruise the Branson Strip at Night

Of course you’re going to ride Highway 76 at least once.

But if you’re cruising the Strip just for the sake of cruising it, do it at night.

It’ll be cooler, and Branson looks better when all the ridiculous lights and signs are turned on anyway.

During the day when you’re actually trying to get somewhere?

Learn Green Mountain Drive and Gretna Road.

Your GPS may act like Highway 76 is the only road in Branson. It isn’t.

Cruise the Strip because you want to.

Don’t sit on it for 30 minutes because your GPS is bossy.

What Is September Weather Like in Branson?

Hot.

Muggy.

Potentially very hot and very muggy.

There. I saved you from the paragraph about “pleasant early fall temperatures in the beautiful Ozarks.” 😂

September is not reliably fall weather in Branson. Check the actual forecast right before your trip.

Do Hog Wild Adventures in the morning. Hit Scotty’s when the afternoon gets hot. Take advantage of the air conditioning at Titanic, Ripley’s or Escapology. Then get back on the bike when the sun starts dropping.

How can I avoid traffic on the Branson Strip?

Learn Green Mountain Drive and Gretna Road. Both can help you bypass portions of Highway 76 when traffic backs up.

One Last Thing

Absolutely hang out downtown. That’s where the rally is. Listen to the bands, check out the bikes, grab some moonshine at Full Throttle and enjoy the madness.

But then go somewhere.

Take the loop around Table Rock Lake. Stop in Kimberling City. Eat barbecue west of town. Grab a beer in Hollister. Get dirty on an ATV. Rent a pontoon. And cruise the Strip after dark at least once.

You rode all the way to the Ozarks. You might as well see some of them.
