If weird stuff is your thing, you're probably going to love Ripley's.
Honestly, every time I go, I end up finding something that makes me stop and say, "What in the world am I looking at?" It's part museum, part fun house, and part collection of things that probably shouldn't exist... but somehow do.
You'll find strange artifacts, crazy stories, interactive exhibits, and plenty of things you'll want to take pictures with. And for my true crime people, they've added an entire new exhibit you'll want to spend some time exploring.
This is also one of my favorite indoor attractions in Branson. Whether it's pouring rain outside or August has the Ozarks feeling like a giant steam sauna, Ripley's is a great place to spend a few hours.
Plan on spending around two hours here, depending on how quickly you move through the exhibits. If you're the type of person who stops to read every sign and examine every display, you could easily spend longer than that.
Now, some of the exhibits are definitely weird. That's kind of the whole point. But I've seen plenty of families and kids having a great time here.
Every time I go, they've added something new, weird, or fascinating. Just when I think I've seen all the weird stuff, I find something else that makes me stop and stare. There are interactive exhibits throughout the attraction, lots of opportunities for photos, and plenty of things you'll be talking about long after you leave.
