The Shepherd of the Hills Outdoor Drama
I can draw a straight line from me living in Branson to the copy of The Shepherd of the Hills that sat on my grandmother’s shelf. She read that book with me when I was little, took a trip to Branson to see the play, and ended up buying a timeshare. Those vacations led to my kid going to college in Branson. I came to visit, started making videos, and the internet started following along. The rest is history.
But even without the personal connection, this show is something special. It’s a timeless story of forgiveness, redemption, and finding peace in a simpler way of life. You’ll watch it all unfold under the stars in a stunning outdoor amphitheater.
During intermission, you can even dance on the hardwood floor with the cast. There’s a reason this show has lasted for generations.
