November Activities in Branson

What’s Happening in Branson This November                     11/5/25

If you are in Branson in late October, you will see locals all over town scrambling to get lights up. We do not necessarily want to start Christmas that early, but if we tried to cram the millions of people who come here for Christmas into one month, it would be complete chaos. Branson is ranked as one of the top ten Christmas destinations in America, and there is a reason people come from all over the country to see the magic.

By the time November hits, Branson is officially in Christmas mode. The lights are glowing, the shows sparkle, and the entire town looks like a snow globe. Here is what is happening across Branson this November.

Silver Dollar City’s Old Time Christmas

Silver Dollar City kicks off its famous Old Time Christmas festival on November 1 and it runs through January 4. With more than six and a half million lights, a nightly parade, and one of the biggest Christmas trees you will ever see, this event earns national awards every year.

Shepherd of the Hills Trail of Lights and North Pole Adventure

Shepherd of the Hills starts its Trail of Lights drive-through on November 1. From November 14 through December 28, the North Pole Adventure opens with letters to Santa, rides, s’mores, and live music. Shepherd has really stepped up its Christmas game in the last few years.

Lights of Joy Drive-Through

Lights of Joy opens November 1 and runs through December 31. It is an easy, family-friendly drive-through display right in town. I will be honest, I think it is just OK. It is not bad, but Promised Land Zoo is a better value. You can find a discount code for that under the discount tab on BransonShowAndGo.com.

Promised Land Zoo’s Let There Be Lights

This two-mile drive-through display starts November 1 and continues through January. You can meet Santa, feed animals, and walk through the zoo afterward. It is interactive, affordable, and great for families.

Redneck Comedy Bus Tour Christmas Lights

The Redneck Comedy Bus Tour transforms for the holidays from November 1 through December 30. You still stop for their famous whiskey tasting, and then the second half of the tour drives through the Lights of Joy display. This one is a great option for adults or groups who want something funny and different to do at night.

Top of the Rock Nature at Night

Starting November 2 through December 31, this is one of the most unique holiday experiences you will find in Branson. You ride a golf cart through lighted caves and wooded trails overlooking Table Rock Lake. It is on the pricey side, but I think it is worth it. There is a parking fee, so plan ahead. Get there early and go through the museum next door. It is included in your ticket price and makes the evening worth it.

Big Cedar Lodge Home for the Holidays

From November 8 through December 31, Big Cedar Lodge hosts Home for the Holidays. You can drive through the lights, ice-skate, go snow tubing, or ride a tram to see the displays. You do not have to stay at the lodge to join in on the fun. Anyone can go down and experience the magic.

Hometown Market Days

Formerly known as Branson Market Days, this massive shopping event takes place November 21 through 23 at the Convention Center downtown. If you are from Oklahoma, think of it like A Fair of the Heart. It is perfect for anyone who loves holiday décor and boutique shopping.

Veterans Week

Veterans Week runs November 5 through 11. It is one of Branson’s biggest events of the year, and the entire town turns out to honor our veterans with parades, reunions, and special performances.

Branson starts Christmas earlier than almost anywhere else, and November is full of magic. Plan your trip early, grab show tickets, and find exclusive discounts at BransonShowAndGo.com to make your holiday visit unforgettable.
