The second you walk through the door, you’re gonna look around and think…

What in the world am I looking at?

It looks like a wizard was tripping acid when he painted the walls… and I mean that in the absolute best way.

Everywhere you look there’s something different. A leprechaun riding a unicorn. Bigfoot. Strange creatures you’ve never seen before. And right when you walk in, you’ll be greeted by the legendary Ozark Howler, our very own Ozarks legend. Think of him as the Ozarks’ version of the chupacabra.

Don’t let the name fool you.

If you’re picturing witches and spooky Halloween décor, that’s not what this place is at all.

The kids are busy looking at all the monsters.

The adults are too… until the food comes out.

Then everybody’s just eating.

Whether you’re grabbing breakfast or looking for one of the best lunch spots in Branson, Mythical Witch absolutely delivers.

Here’s What I’d Order

If it’s lunchtime, I’m ordering either the Cosmic Bacon Ranch or the Recession Special.

Now hear me out on that Recession Special.

It’s bologna with smashed chips.

One bite and I’m a kid again, sitting on the beach at Half Moon Bay with my family.

It’s simple.

It’s nostalgic.

And somehow… it just works.

They also serve breakfast all day now, which makes my husband ridiculously happy.

If you’re ordering breakfast, get the White Walker.

That perfectly cooked egg makes the whole sandwich.

The mini pancakes are another fan favorite.

And if you’re trying to eat a little healthier, they’ve got some of my favorite salads in town.

Before You Go

This is the perfect place to grab breakfast before shopping in Historic Downtown Branson or stop in for lunch after you’ve worked up an appetite exploring all the little shops.

Here’s the deal.

I love places that are different.

I love places that are Instagram-worthy.

But I’m also a little bit of a food snob.

If the food doesn’t live up to the atmosphere, I’m probably not coming back.

Mythical 'Wich checks every single box.

Fun fact…

This place is owned by Brad, the same guy behind Gettin’ Basted, which also happens to be one of my favorite breakfast spots in town. So it really shouldn’t surprise anybody that he also landed at the top of my lunch list.

The man is known worldwide for his delicious meat.

He was the runner-up on Food Network’s BBQ Brawl, and if you’ve eaten at any of his restaurants, you already know he takes food seriously.

I don’t care if you’re a seasoned foodie or a monster-loving nerd.

I don’t care if you’re five or fifty-five.

This is my number one lunch spot in Branson.

I’ve sent a whole lot of people here over the years, and I honestly can’t think of anybody who’s come back disappointed.

So if you don’t like it…
