Everybody already knows how much I love Silver Dollar City. This park is not just rides. It is festivals, food, crafts, shows, stunning Christmas lights, and that old time Ozarks charm that you cannot find anywhere else. Their seasonal festivals are incredible and each one feels totally different. Pumpkin Nights in the fall. Bluegrass and BBQ in the spring. Christmas in the City with over six million lights. It is one of the most iconic theme parks in America and it is only a short drive from Kimberling City.

Talking Rocks Cavern

Talking Rocks Cavern is a great little adventure if you want something unique. It is impressive and really educational, and the tour guides do a great job. On hot days the cave feels naturally cool which is perfect when you need a break from the sun. On cold days it feels warm because the temperature stays steady year round. It is close to town, kid friendly, and a fun way to explore something totally different.
