Everybody knows about the big stores downtown, but I found a little place that I love.

Owned by Jimmy and Carla, Kilroy’s has personality! Honestly, I never know what I’m going to walk into. Sometimes it’s the staff cracking jokes with customers. Sometimes everybody is singing along to whatever classic rock song is playing. And somehow, I always end up finding something I didn’t know I needed.

Of course, they’ve got plenty of Branson souvenirs, but that’s just the beginning. Their collection of classic rock T-shirts is massive! They have everything from band shirts to black light posters, and if you need an AC/DC onesie for the grandkids, this is your spot. I swear, every time I walk in, I find something I wasn’t expecting.

And let’s talk about the pickles.

People absolutely go crazy for Bettyann’s Gourmet Pickles. One of my favorite things is that you can sample many of the pickles and snacks before deciding what to take home. Fair warning, it’s hard to leave with just one jar.

If you have kids with you, don’t be surprised if they spot whatever toy everybody is going crazy over. Somehow, Kilroy’s always seems to have it. This year, it’s Needohs, mystery dumplings, and squishies.

What I love most, though, is that shopping here feels different. Nobody’s in a hurry. People are laughing. Somebody is usually singing. And every visit feels like a little adventure.

Just don’t be surprised if you walk in looking for a souvenir and leave with a Fleetwood Mac shirt, a jar of pickles, and three things you had absolutely no intention of buying.
