If you’ve followed me for very long, you already know I love Hidden Pines.

I don’t know who is in charge of decorating this place, but somebody needs to give them a raise.

Every season they completely transform the restaurant. Spring is beautiful, Christmas is magical, and every fall I jokingly start calling it “Haunted Pines.” If spooky-dooky is your thing, you’re going to love it.

But don’t think I’m only coming here for the decorations.

That ribeye keeps bringing me back.

Why I Keep Coming Back

Most restaurants throw out a few pumpkins in the fall or put up a Christmas tree in December.

Hidden Pines goes all in.

Every time I walk through the doors, I can’t wait to see what they’ve done this season.

In the spring, it’s bright and colorful.

Around Christmas, it’s absolutely beautiful.

And every fall…well…that’s when I start calling it Haunted Pines.

Skeletons.

Spooky decorations.

Seasonal drinks.

The whole place just gets into the spirit without feeling scary. It’s fun for adults, but I’d still bring kids here too.

The decorations are what get me in the door.

The food is what keeps me coming back.

What I’m Ordering

If it’s my choice…

I’m ordering the ribeye.

Every single time.

I honestly think it’s one of the best affordable steaks in Branson.

Then winter rolls around…

And suddenly I’m stalking their Facebook page waiting for them to announce soup flights are back.

If you’ve never had one, they’re exactly what they sound like. Several different soups served together so you can try a little bit of everything.

They’re one of my favorite seasonal menu items anywhere in Branson.

The seasonal specialty drinks are also worth a look because they always tie into whatever holiday or season they’re celebrating.

Who Should Go?

I recommend Hidden Pines all the time.

Girls’ trips love it because everybody spends half the meal talking about the decorations.

It’s a great date night because there’s enough to look at that the conversation just happens naturally.

Families enjoy it too because even during Halloween, it’s more fun than frightening.

Basically…

If you enjoy restaurants that have a little personality instead of feeling like every other chain restaurant, I think you’ll have a good time here.

Before You Head Over…

This is probably the biggest thing people need to know.

Hidden Pines isn’t open every day, and their hours can be a little quirky, so always check before you go.

The entrance can also throw people off the first time.

If you’re parked beside the building, you’ll see stairs leading down to the restaurant.

If stairs are difficult, don’t worry.

There’s a rear entrance that makes getting inside much easier.

And if the weather is nice, ask about the seasonal patio.

A Local Tip

Don’t just come once.

If you’re in Branson during different seasons, Hidden Pines feels like a completely different restaurant each time.

Spring.

Fall.

Christmas.

That’s when they really shine.
