Where to Watch Fireworks in Branson, Missouri (2026 Guide)
Looking for the best places to watch fireworks in Branson, Missouri this Fourth of July?
Good news! There are fireworks shows happening all around Branson and the surrounding Ozarks. Whether you want to watch from the water, enjoy a patriotic celebration with live music, or catch a resort fireworks display, you’ve got plenty of options.
I’ve rounded up some of the biggest fireworks shows happening around Branson so you don’t have to spend hours hunting down all the details. Let’s jump in!
June 27: Honor America at College of the Ozarks
One of the most patriotic events of the entire season is Honor America at College of the Ozarks.
This event features food, activities for kids, patriotic music, and a huge community celebration before the fireworks begin.
The band is scheduled to start around 8:45 PM, with fireworks immediately following.
If you’ve never attended Honor America before, it’s worth putting on your list. College of the Ozarks always does a fantastic job with patriotic events!
July 2: Fireburst Celebration in Kimberling City
Kimberling City’s annual Fireburst Celebration is happening on July 2.
The fireworks are launched from the northeast side of the Kimberling City Bridge and can be viewed from land or by boat on Table Rock Lake.
If you’ve got access to a boat, this is a really fun one. There is just something special about watching fireworks reflect off the water.
Trust me, you’ll want to get there early because this one draws a crowd!
July 3: Liberty Light Up at Branson Landing
If you’re only going to pick one fireworks show, this is probably the one most visitors should consider.
Liberty Light Up at Branson Landing is one of the biggest Fourth of July celebrations in the area.
Live entertainment typically kicks off in the evening, followed by the Branson Landing Fountain Show and a huge fireworks display over Lake Taneycomo.
My biggest piece of advice? Get there EARLY.
I’m not kidding. Parking can get absolutely crazy for this event, and the closer you get to fireworks time, the harder it becomes to find a good spot.
July 4: Big Cedar Lodge Patriotic Picnic
Big Cedar Lodge goes all out for the Fourth of July.
Their annual Patriotic Picnic includes activities throughout the day before the fireworks begin that evening.
If you’re staying at Big Cedar, this is an easy choice.
If you’re not staying there, keep reading because there are still some great viewing options nearby.
July 4: Watch from Top of the Rock
One of my favorite suggestions is Top of the Rock.
You don’t have to be staying at Big Cedar to enjoy the views. Depending on where you’re sitting, you may be able to watch the fireworks from places like Osage Restaurant, Buffalo Bar, or other public areas around the property.
And honestly? If you could time a golf cart tour just right, I bet that would be incredible!
The Ozark Mountain views alone are worth the trip.
July 4: Rockaway Beach Celebration
Rockaway Beach is hosting a full day of Fourth of July festivities beginning at 10:00 AM and continuing throughout the day.
The celebration wraps up with fireworks that evening.
If you love small-town America vibes, this one is for you.
Rockaway Beach always has that laid-back lake-town feel that people fall in love with.
July 4: Shell Knob Fire and Thunder
Shell Knob’s Fire and Thunder celebration features fireworks launched near the Shell Knob Bridge.
This is another fantastic option if you’re spending the holiday around Table Rock Lake.
A lot of people watch from boats, and the views can be absolutely beautiful.
If you’re staying on the lake, this may be the easiest fireworks show to access.
July 4: Hollister Fourth of July Celebration
Of course, Hollister is getting in on the fun too!
The celebration begins around 6:00 PM and includes family activities, community events, the Firecracker Pageant, and fireworks after dark.
If you’re staying in the Branson area, Hollister is a great option because it’s close, convenient, and always draws a fun crowd.
July 5: Château on the Lake Fireworks
Still not ready for the Fourth of July fun to end?
Château on the Lake is scheduled to have fireworks on July 5.
The resort also offers a barbecue dinner and special activities for guests.
One thing I really like about this show is that you can often see it from several locations on the west side of Branson as well as from Table Rock Lake.
In years past, Château on the Lake has often continued fireworks throughout the summer on Sunday nights, but when I called this year, they were not yet able to confirm whether that tradition would continue for 2026.
Don’t Forget About Resort Fireworks
Here’s a tip a lot of visitors don’t think about.
Many resorts around Branson host private fireworks shows just for their guests.
Properties like Treasure Lake and other area resorts often have their own celebrations.
If you’re staying at a resort during Fourth of July week, make sure you ask whether they have fireworks planned. You might discover a great show without ever leaving your property!
Final Thoughts
No matter where you decide to watch fireworks this year, there are plenty of great options around Branson and the Ozarks.
Whether you’re headed to Branson Landing, spending the day at Big Cedar, boating on Table Rock Lake, exploring Hollister, or checking out one of the smaller communities nearby, you’re going to find some incredible celebrations.
Grab your lawn chairs, your favorite people, and maybe a few snacks, because it’s time to celebrate the Fourth of July in the Ozarks! 🇺🇸🎆
