You Do NOT Have To Buy a Timeshare To Stay at These Branson Resorts
I’ve been very vocal for years that I do not like a lot of the tactics used in the timeshare industry.
But honestly? Some of the resorts themselves are actually really nice.
The good news is that these days, many of these resorts in Branson, Missouri can be booked just like a regular hotel. You do NOT have to buy a timeshare or commit to crazy maintenance fees to stay there.
And honestly, I think this is a much better model.
A lot of these resorts have larger rooms, kitchens, separate bedrooms, indoor and outdoor pools, activities, and amenities that would cost a whole lot more at a traditional hotel in Branson.
So instead of buying into a timeshare… just stay at the resort like a normal vacation.
And before somebody gets mad at me in the comments, yes, pricing changes constantly depending on season, room type, and availability. But these are resorts I’ve personally stayed at over the years that I’ve found to often be surprisingly comparable to hotel pricing in Branson, Missouri.
If you’re planning a Branson vacation and looking for places to stay in Branson that give you more room than a standard hotel, here are some of my personal favorites.
Grand Crowne Resort
One of the best value resort stays in Branson if you want more space without luxury pricing.
The outdoor pool area here is fabulous, and I really love the little restaurant they have on property. The grounds and exterior feel very nice, and the location is super convenient because you are close to the Branson Strip without being directly in the middle of the chaos.
Now, I’ll be honest, the rooms are a little basic and could definitely use an update. But for the price? I would absolutely still stay here again.
This is one of those places where I feel like you get a lot for your money.
Best For: Families, budget-conscious travelers, central location

Westgate Branson Woods Resort
If I had to pick my favorite resort at this price point, this would probably be it.
This resort has pretty much everything. Indoor and outdoor pools, walking trails, cabins, condos, activities, and a lot of the property feels very updated compared to some of the older resorts around Branson.
It’s located on the north side of town, so it feels tucked away while still being close to all the things to do in Branson.
And honestly… with all the rumors floating around this year, maybe we ARE finally getting that waterpark everybody has been talking about.
While you’re here, do not skip the waterfall trail next door. It’s one of my favorite short hikes in Branson, Missouri.
Best For: Families, long weekends, travelers who want resort amenities

Holiday Hills Resort
My family and I have stayed here so many times over the years.
We’ve always been lucky enough to get some of the larger units, and they are SO spacious for the price. The rooms are definitely more basic, but they’ve always been really clean when we’ve stayed there.
I love the indoor pool and game room here, and even though it’s east of town a bit, it’s so peaceful because it sits right on the golf course.
This is one of the quieter resorts in Branson, which honestly can be really nice after spending all day around the busy Branson Strip.
Pro tip: The Flea Hag antique mall is right next door and you absolutely need to stop in there.
Best For: Families, quieter vacations, travelers wanting extra space

Stormy Point Village
This resort is so unique because you get your own little cottage instead of being stacked on top of other guests.
That means your downstairs neighbors are not going to complain about your kids stomping around all day, which honestly makes this one such a good family option.
The northeast coastal theme is adorable, and while they do have a nice indoor pool, this place REALLY shines in the summer. The outdoor pool area is huge, and the bar and restaurant are absolutely part of the experience here.
I also love that it’s less than five minutes from the Branson Strip and right by Table Rock Lake.
If you want a resort in Branson where you’ll actually spend time hanging out instead of just sleeping there, this is a great option.
Best For: Families, summer trips, travelers wanting a true resort feel

Club Wyndham Mountain Vista & Club Wyndham At The Meadows
I’m grouping these together because they are sister properties directly across the street from each other, and guests can use amenities at both resorts.
Mountain Vista has a fantastic indoor pool, and both resorts have been maintained really well over the years. The rooms feel more updated than some of the older timeshare resorts in Branson, and there are usually lots of activities happening throughout the week.
I would personally stay at either of these properties again in a heartbeat.
Now, I will say this… Wyndham At The Falls is personally not my favorite Wyndham property in Branson. I just think some of the other Wyndham resorts have held up better over time.
Best For: Families, couples, longer stays

Hyatt Vacation Club At The Lodges At Timber Ridge
I have been a longtime fan of this place.
The rooms have a classic upscale lodge feel that honestly reminds me a little bit of Big Cedar, but at a much more affordable price point and much closer to town.
Obviously you are not getting all the luxury amenities of Big Cedar, but this is still a fantastic place to stay in Branson, Missouri.
My only complaint right now is that the indoor pool situation has been a mess for a while, and it sounds like it may stay closed through a large portion of 2026.
If the indoor pool is not a dealbreaker for you though, this place is especially great for couples looking for a romantic getaway close to the Branson Strip.
Best For: Couples, romantic getaways, upscale lodge feel

Marriott’s Willow Ridge Lodge
This place feels much more like an upscale resort than an Ozarks lodge.
The outdoor pool area is fantastic, the indoor pool is huge, and the clubhouse and activities really make this feel like a full resort experience.
The rooms are updated, spacious, and very well maintained. And even though you are right off the Branson Strip, the property is surprisingly quiet.
If you want a resort where you can genuinely enjoy spending an entire day hanging out on property, this is a great choice.
Best For: Families, resort-focused vacations, travelers wanting updated rooms
