Best Branson Breakfast (Real Talk Edition)

Best Breakfast in Branson (Real Talk Edition)

If you’re coming to Branson and you love breakfast as much as my husband does, this one’s for you! I’ve tried just about everywhere in town, and I’m giving you the real talk version. No fluff or hype, just honest opinions on the best breakfast and brunch spots in Branson.

Billy Gail’s Café

This one’s a Branson classic! Everybody’s seen the pancakes the size of a pizza, but what keeps me coming back is the billionaire bacon. The décor is super cool, and they’ve got two locations, but I personally prefer the original one out closer to Silver Dollar City.

Downtown Branson Breakfast Spots

Downtown Branson has so many solid options for breakfast. Full Throttle actually has a surprisingly good one! Hidden Pines is another solid choice, but they’re only open a few days a week and not until 10 a.m.

If you just want to grab something and go, Walker’s, yes the walking taco place, makes amazing breakfast burritos.

Farmhouse and Branson Café

Farmhouse gets great ratings, and I get it, but I hate waiting in line that long. So I usually go across the street to Branson Café. Their cinnamon rolls are spot on every single time! It’s one of those places that feels like it hasn’t changed in decades, and I mean that in the best possible way.

Clocker’s Café

I used to love Clocker’s, but my last two experiences there have been rough. They’ve got one waitress who’s kind of ruined it for me, and I’ve started hearing the same thing from other people. Their Google rating has dropped to a 4.3, and honestly, I think it’s going to keep slipping. I’m rooting for them though, because I’ve had some great breakfasts there in the past!

Steamy Joe’s Café

Y’all already know this is my favorite breakfast spot in Branson. It’s technically quick service, but I love sitting on the patio or in the sunroom. The view is incredible, the staff is always sweet, and the food is consistently good. If you’re looking for a cozy, chill morning, Steamy Joe’s is it.

Belgian Waffle and Pancake House

Another consistently good option is Belgian Waffle and Pancake House on the Strip. It’s nothing fancy! The décor looks like it hasn’t been updated since the 90s, but the food hits the spot. Sometimes simple and nostalgic is exactly what breakfast should be.

Hungry Hunter

Now before y’all come after me, I have to be honest. I don’t love Hungry Hunter. It’s just okay to me. But here’s the deal, everyone else is obsessed with it! It’s got a 4.8 rating, and every time I mention breakfast, people say, “You have to eat there!” So go tell them I don’t like them, but I sent you anyway. They’re probably tired of hearing that by now.

The Château on the Lake

If you want something a little fancier, the Château on the Lake has an incredible Sunday brunch! I wouldn’t suggest eating there any other time of the week, and honestly, I wouldn’t stay there, but that brunch is spot on.

We really need more brunch options in Branson since the Keeter Center stopped serving theirs. Somebody fix that please.

Places That Didn’t Make My List

There are a few that didn’t make the cut because their ratings have dropped below a 4.3. Grand Country, The Brunch House, Jackie B. Good’s, and McFarlane’s didn’t make my lineup this time around.

And one that has never been on my list is Starvin’ Marvin’s. I know somebody’s going to tell me they had a great breakfast there 10 or 20 years ago, but y’all, they’re sitting at a 3.8. I’ve said enough bad stuff about them that they’d probably spit in my food if I ever walked in, so let’s move on!

Wrapping It Up

Even though breakfast isn’t my favorite meal, it’s my husband’s, so I’ve done the research for you! If you want to see all the best places to eat in Branson, every single one of my favorites is rated 4.3 or higher.
