Who Should Eat at Heroes?

I’d recommend Heroes if you’re traveling with family, meeting friends for lunch, or just looking for a casual place to grab dinner after a day of exploring Branson.

One thing I like is that the menu has enough variety that everyone can usually find something they want. If you’ve ever been in that situation where one person wants a burger, another wants seafood, and someone else wants a salad, Heroes makes that decision pretty easy.

Another reason I recommend it is the location. It’s right on the Branson Strip, so it’s easy to work into your day no matter what attractions you’re visiting.

What Makes Heroes Tastes & Taps Different?

The first thing you’ll notice when you walk inside is the theme.

Heroes is dedicated to the men and women who serve our communities and our country. Everywhere you look you’ll see tributes to military members, police officers, firefighters, nurses, and first responders. From firefighter helmets to military memorabilia, there’s something to catch your eye throughout the restaurant.

It’s one of those places where you’ll probably spend a few minutes looking around before you ever open the menu.

What Food Does Heroes Tastes & Taps Serve?

One thing I like about Heroes is that I never feel like I have to order the same thing twice.

I’ve eaten here several times, and I honestly don’t have a go-to meal yet because I always end up trying something different. The menu includes burgers, sandwiches, steaks, seafood, chicken, salads, and plenty of American favorites, so there’s a little something for everyone.

If you’re looking for an appetizer, my family’s favorite has been the Fire Chief Fried Pickles. My nephew absolutely loves them, and they’re always one of the first things we talk about after we leave.

Does Heroes Have a Bar?

It does, and it’s actually a really nice setup.

Heroes has a large bar featuring 24 beers on tap, and it’s a popular place for locals to meet up, grab a drink, and spend some time together.

What I like is that the bar has its own separate area. Even though it’s a great place to enjoy a beer, the main dining room still feels family friendly. I’ve seen plenty of families with kids eating here, so don’t let the size of the bar make you think this is just a place to grab drinks.

My Thoughts

I’ve eaten at Heroes several times, and one thing I appreciate is that it’s simply dependable.

The food is good, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the location couldn’t be much more convenient. One thing I’ve noticed over the years is that I can often get seated here without the long waits you’ll find at some of Branson’s more popular restaurants. If everywhere else seems packed, Heroes is one of the first places I think about.
