Steamy Joe in Branson, Missouri | Breakfast, Coffee & My Favorite Order

Steamy Joe Branson

If Nancy Meyers opened a breakfast spot in Branson, I swear it would look a whole lot like Steamy Joe.

It’s tucked away at The Bradford, and everything about it just feels cozy. The owners and staff are some of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet, the coffee is incredible, and the food never disappoints.

If the weather is nice, you’ll probably find me out on the patio with my dogs, coffee in hand, watching the sun come up.

That’s about as close to a perfect Branson morning as it gets.

Why I Love It

I think what keeps me coming back is that this place has heart.

The owners are wonderful. The staff is genuinely kind, and you never feel like you’re just another customer walking through the door.

Steamy Joe lands somewhere between counter service and a full-service restaurant. You order at the counter, grab your coffee, find a table, and they’ll bring your food out when it’s ready.

It’s quick enough if you’ve got a busy day planned, but relaxed enough that it never feels rushed.

If I Were Taking You…

First things first…

We’re getting there early.

Not just because I love watching the sunrise from the patio, but because this place gets busy on weekend mornings. If you don’t get there early enough, there’s a good chance you’ll be waiting for a table.

Hang in there.

It’s worth the wait.

The first thing we’re ordering is coffee.

Not just because it’s delicious, but because some of their drinks are little works of art. They even make one with the cutest little fox face on top that’s almost too pretty to drink.

Almost.

Then I’m telling you exactly how to order breakfast.

Get the cinnamon roll breakfast and ask them to swap the berries for bananas and Nutella.

Trust me.

It’s even better that way.

If my husband is with us, he’s ordering the breakfast bowl with a side of biscuits and gravy.

Then he’s dumping the biscuits and gravy right over the top.

It sounds ridiculous.

It also happens to be delicious.

Before we leave, we’re stopping by the bakery case.

If they’ve got an espresso chip muffin…

Buy one.

Actually…

Buy two.

They’re so dang good.

Who Should Go?

I’d recommend Steamy Joe to just about anybody.

Couples.

Girls’ trips.

Coffee lovers.

People staying at The Bradford.

Or anyone looking for a local breakfast spot with a lot of charm.

Before You Head Over

Weekend mornings are their busiest time, so getting there early is your best bet.

If the weather is nice, grab a table on the patio.

If you’ve got your dog with you, they’re welcome to join you outside.
